Hitler Bomb Plot - 1944

On 20 July 1944, an attempt was made to assassinate Adolf Hitler by several groups within the German Resistance. It was very nearly successful. This film shows good footage of the bombed headquarters and Hitler greeting Mussolini with his injured arm.

FDR Assassination Attempt 
On 15th February 1933, shots were fired on President-elect Franklin Roosevelt. Although he was unhurt, three others were wounded and one was killed.  Newsreels covering this event can be found here.
